Orput Companies Inc. secured financing for the acquisition, PUD entitlement and development of the 4,779 sq. ft. building.
Starbucks, Ottawa, IL
This is a joint venture developed, owned and managed by OCI. Located near Interstate 80, the coffee chain is positioned in the main thoroughfare for travelers. After closing its previous location more than a decade ago, construction began in 2021 and was completed on the new Ottawa, IL location. Orput Companies, Inc. secured financing for the acquisition, PUD entitlement and development of the property.
Multi-Tenant Retail Building, Homewood, IL
A joint venture located in the Halsted Street Retail Corridor of Homewood, IL, this is an 8,500 sq. ft. multi-tenant building with tenants that include Potbelly, Mattress Firm and Verizon. A former Applebee’s restaurant was acquired, demolished and redeveloped to make way for this asset. It is easily accessed by both residents and visitors immediately south of I-80/294.
Chipotle, Countryside, IL
OCI secured financing for the acquisition, PUD entitlement, development and construction management of the property.
Kmart Redevelopment, East State & Mulford, Rockford, IL
OCI, in joint venture with U-Haul, is proposing the redevelopment of the 15-acre former 125,000 sq. ft. Kmart site into a self-storage facility, along with the development of four new retail outlots along the State Street and Mulford Road frontage. OCI is actively working with the City of Rockford on a Redevelopment Agreement, which outlines the city’s requirements for approval of the self-storage use. These requirements include additional retail development, both on-site and off-site infrastructure improvements, as well as a 1.5-acre green space buffer adjacent to the self-storage facility, which will serve as a park amenity for the surrounding neighborhood.
